AN UPDATE FOR OUR PATIENTS & EMPLOYEES

Tampa Bay Medical Research is carefully monitoring the national COVID-19 pandemic, specifically in our local region. As this situation continues to progress, your health and wellness is of the utmost importance to our team. In an effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus and keep our patients, employees, and volunteers safe, we are enacting these CDC recommendations within our site until further notice:

• Please contact us prior to your visit if you are feeling ill and we can reschedule your visit.
• Everyone is required to wear a mask while in our facility; if you do not have a mask, we can provide one for your visit
• Your temperature will be checked when you arrive at our office; you will then be taken to a private room to ensure social distancing from others within the facility
• For your convenience, hand sanitizer is stationed at check-in desk and in each exam room
• Please be assured that all our staff is screened daily and will be wearing masks and other PPE as necessary

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) controls the collection, use and distribution of individually identifiable health information by certain health care providers, called “covered entities” under the statute. All of Tampa Bay Medical Research’s services are HIPAA compliant.
